A Great Place To Date

I heard to my horror the other day that couples on a first date are going to Karaoke Bars! No wonder so many people complain that they don’t get a second date!

If you are serious about dating and let’s face it who isn’t then a Karaoke Bar as a venue for a first date is frankly mad.

A first date is supposed to be a time when you begin to get to know the person you rather like and has asked you or you have asked them out on a date.

Candlelit dinners are maybe a bit passé but at least you can hear yourselves talk in a Karaoke Bar all you will hear is several different versions of Elvis songs being strangled by people who probably can’t tell you Elvis’s surname.

So if a candlelit dinner in a nice restaurant is not your cup of Cappuccino then there are other places diners are nice and you can usually has a pleasant enough evening in one with a nice walk through the city. But believe it or not one of the best places to have a chat and an enjoyable time in my book at the moment is bowling and that is because you get to do a little exercise and in between actually bowling you can have little chats.

Little chats are handy because you tend never to run out of things to say and in between them you have plenty of time to think of what you will say next.

Then after the game you can have a snack and a drink in the bar without Karaoke happily. You should try it and let me know if it works for you, you never know you might even see me bowling I actually go once a week and love it.

Saying Goodnight On A First Date!

Are there any rules for saying goodnight on a first date? Well honestly there aren’t and don’t let any silly website scribbler tell you any different, you have to use your commonsense and trust your instinct.

In addition if you use the guideline that sex on a first date is a merely a one night stand and not usually the beginning of something more serious then you will be set up for any date.

Always remember though that sex on a first date can be rather enjoyable for both men and women and there is nothing wrong with it, obviously you must use protection but that is there is no reason why if that is what you want that you don’t enjoy yourself.

So that answers the question of whether to have sex on a first date, however if you think that ‘this’ first date might be something more than just a one night stand I would tend to be patient.

When do you say good night on a first date? Well you can say good night and walk away from a date at any time especially if things aren’t going well and you don’t want to prolong the agony and you can, of course, do this at any time during the date, you don’t need an excuse good night is enough.

Happily the two little words ‘good night’ are pretty final and don’t have much of come back.

Really there are lots of other ways to say good night, but whether the date went well or not ‘good night’ is really the best way to say that you want to head home.

You can add that your date can walk you to your car or public transport because unless you want to invite them home for ‘coffee’ then you have set a point at which the date will definitely end.

When you go on dates do always ensure you ‘datesafe,’ make sure that if this is a first date someone you know is aware of where you are going and what time to expect you home.

There aren’t many homicidal maniacs out there contrary to what it sometimes seems like on the TV news, but and it is the biggest but in the world, you don’t want to take ‘that’ chance ever do you?
